When using Diskgenius for lossless zoning adjustments, there are a few things to note:
1, lossless zoning adjustment operations, if it involves system partitions (usually C:), Diskgenius will automatically restart the computer into the DOS mode, and automatically run the Diskgenius DOS version to complete the lossless partition adjustment work, after the partition adjustment, will automatically restart the computer, return to Windows system;
2, adjust the size of the partition, Diskgenius support mouse operation, you can use the mouse to change the size of the partition, move the partition location, switch the adjustment of space processing options, etc. can also directly specify the size of the adjusted partition, for users with special requirements, you can also set the exact starting and ending sector area code, the following figure:
3. During the lossless partition adjustment process, do not use other software to read and write the disk. In fact, Diskgenius is automatically locked in a partition that is currently being resized during a lossless partition adjustment process.
4, when the partition is relatively large, the data on the partition for a long time, the lossless partition adjustment process may be slightly longer, at this point, you can specify the adjusted operation, and then leave the computer, first to deal with other things, as shown in the following figure:
5, when the hard disk or partition of some kind of error, such as disk bad or other potential logic errors, or due to system anomalies, sudden power outages, and other reasons caused by the adjustment process interruption, will cause the partition resizing failed, resulting in the adjustment of the partition all the files are lost. Therefore, lossless partition adjustment is a risky operation. Therefore, when there are important files in the partition, please be sure to do the backup work, and then do a lossless partition adjustment operation!
Diskgenius also prompts you to do this when you start a partition tuning operation, as shown in the following figure:
