Story 1: Do you do your best or do your best?
One day the hunter took the hound to hunt.
When a hunter hits a rabbit's hind leg, the injured rabbit starts to run hard. The Hound also flew to catch up with the rabbit under the guidance of the hunter.
However, after chasing, the rabbit disappeared, and the hound had to return to the hunter's side, and the hunter began to scold the Hound: "You are useless, and you cannot even catch an injured rabbit !" The Hound replied unconvinced: "I did my best !"
Besides, when the rabbit was wounded and ran back to the cave, all of its brothers came around and asked him in surprise: "The Hound is fierce! Why did you get hurt again ?"
"It does its best. I am doing my best! It didn't catch up with me, so I had to get beaten up at most, and if I ran completely, I would be dead !"
People have a lot of potential, but we often make excuses for ourselves or others: "We have done our best to manage it ."
In fact, the best effort is far from enough, especially in the age of fierce competition and crisis everywhere.
I often ask myself whether I am a best-effort hound or a best-effort rabbit today?
