This is the second reading note, this book I have read the more than half, feel the book described in the people are crazy, a group of creative, but can withstand the loneliness of the madman.
I found several points in my book that I am more interested in.
The first one, The Lego dream. Put the program together like Lego bricks. For this, many companies are now more or less in use. But the book also mentions that many programmers do not like to borrow other people's code, if you look at a document for more than two minutes without finding what you need to determine that it does not exist, so you can write it. In my opinion, this kind of person is a madman, is also a group of cute lunatics, they often see the code as the first existence, programming, love programming, although for the team manager, this group of cowboy programmers is a hard thorn, but for the general programmer, they are heroes, because a classic code may appear in their hands. In my own opinion, I also somewhat slightly biased to this kind of people, often I in the programming process, do not like to look at other people's code, but like to build their own programs, even if some places than others, because if the use of other people's code, the final result of the joy than a lot of himself to knock out a line of code.
Second, I see in the book that many programmers have some common problems, such as a bit of a disconnect in reality, indulge in their own virtual world, suffering from mild autism. The work of programmers is doomed to be lonely, lonely, maybe they spend more time with the computer each day than other times, it is not difficult to explain why most programmers are a bit autistic, of course, from another point of view, these programmers are excellent, if not really put into the code, devote to 01 of the world, And how to be withdrawn.
In fact, I am talking about a point of view or content in the book, but the whole book is to tell the reader the extraordinary world of IT workers, so I can really see it as a common and special industry. I'm looking forward to reading this book out.
