Ebay will end the monopoly of Paypal payment

Recently, eBay's attempt to force sellers to use PayPal as a payment option has been blocked. The Australian Competition and consumption Board may deny this option, and Ebay has announced its termination.

Ebay originally planned to reject all payment methods, including bank transfers, check and remittance, and only retain the two payment methods of PayPal and delivery payment, which caused a lot of eBay sellers to resist, because this will increase the seller's cost, PayPal will take a certain proportion of Commission for each transaction.

Sellers believe that eBay users have the right to choose their preferred payment method. eBay's use of Paypal is an excuse to prevent fraud and is difficult to accept.

The Australian Competition and Consumer Council (ACCC) held a meeting on the plan and intended to ban its implementation, believing it would reduce competition in the payment market. However, before ACCC makes a final decision, eBay announces that they will cancel the plan.
