Err:line dpkg-gencontrol command not found when Debian compiles the kernel

The following error occurred while compiling the Debian kernel:

INSTALL Include/asm (the files)

/home/fuckids/linux-3.13.7/scripts/package/builddeb: Line 65:dpkg-gencontrol: Command not found

MAKE[1]: * * * [DEB-PKG] Error 127

Make: * * * * [DEB-PKG] Error 2

Workaround:

Apt-get Install Dpkg-dev

Once installed, this command can be found at the command line:

root@debian-ids:/home/fuckids/linux-3.13.7# Dpkg-gen

Dpkg-genchanges Dpkg-gencontrol Dpkg-gensymbols
