Escape functions in SQL

 

#% Represents any number of characters

#_ Represents a character 

Select *From UserWhere UsernameLike'_';

#What if I want to check % or? UseEscapeThe % or _ after the escape character is not used as a wildcard. Note that the % and _ without the escape character are still used as wildcards.  

Select UsernameFrom Gg_userWhere UsernameLike'% Xiao _ %'Escape ''; 

Select UsernameFrom Gg_userWhere UsernameLike'% Xiao %'Escape ''; 

 

 You can use ''to escape characters, but you can also use other symbols.
