Everything starts with hard-android SDK Installation

I studied how to install the SDK successfully all morning. Next we will share the installation process.

 

Eclipse + Android SDK 2.1 environment deployment

1. You can install JDK 1.5 or 1.6 in the first step.

2. Install eclipse in the second part. The latest version is 3.6.

L download version: pulsar for mobile developers, for example:

 

3. After eclipse is installed successfully, you need to install ADT (Android development tools)

L after eclipse is started, select help-> install new software

L then add ADT plus-in URL: https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/eclipse/

L then select and install Android ddms (Android Dalvik debug moniter server) and Android development tools (ADT)

4. Install the android SDK. This step is the most important step.

Because the version I want to install is SDK, the package is android-sdk_r06-windows.zip

There are two installation methods:

1. Online Installation

L decompress the compressed package, for example, to D: \ Android-SDK-Windows

L then run the SDK setup.exe, and then select force https://...scources to be fetched using http ://...

L select the desired SDK version from the available packages file.

Depending on your network speed, the time may be slightly different.

2. Offline Installation

L download the installation package android-2.20.r01-windows.zip, but the tools folder in the folder contains two key files: adb.exe and SDK setup.exe. This requires SDK and AVD manager setup.

L The SDK requires an independent folder for each version, which is placed in the platform folder. For example, extract the installation package android-2.20.r01-windows.zip, decompress the android-2.1_r01-windows folder, the folder needs to be placed in platforms \ android-2.1_r01-windows \ so that you can start SDK setup.exe to find the successful installation of SDK 2.1.

L if the android SDK and AVD manager setupis r4, the compressed package is android-sdk_r04-windows.zip. After SDK setup.exe is started, eclipse still cannot run normally even if sdk2.1 is found. The reason is that the android SDK and AVD manager setup has been upgraded to R5, And the android SDK and AVD manager setup will automatically connect to R5 and upgrade to R5 before sdk2.1 can be installed and eclipse can run.

L at last, it should be noted that the path of Android SDK and AVD manager setup should be configured in eclipse, rather than the path of the android-2.1_r01-windows. In the above example, the path should be D: \ Android-SDK-Windows

L add D: \ Android-SDK-Windows \ tools to system environment variables.
