One, let the data display different colors

In the Student Score Analysis table, if you want the score to be greater than or equal to 500 points in blue, the score less than 500 points is shown in red. The steps are as follows: First, select the column where the total score is, and perform the format → conditional format. In the Conditional Formatting dialog box that pops up, set the first box to cell value, set to greater than or equal to in the second box, and then enter 500 in the third box, click the Format button, and in the Format cell dialog box, set the font color to blue, and then click the Add button, set to less than 500 in the same way, set to red, and then click the OK button. At this point, as long as your total score is greater than or equal to 500 points, it will be shown in blue numbers, otherwise shown in red (as shown in Figure 1).

Ii. Control of data types

When you enter a worksheet, you need to enter only an integer in the cell and not a decimal number, or you can enter only date-type data. Luckily, Excel 2003 has the ability to automatically judge, instantly analyze, and eject a warning. Select specific cells first, then select data → effectivity. In the Data Validation dialog box, select the Settings tab, and then in the Allow box, select a specific data type and, of course, add certain requirements to the type, such as the integer must be between a number and so on (Figure 2). Alternatively, you can select the "Error Alert" tab to set the alert message (as shown in Figure 3) after an error in the input type. If not set, the warning window is opened in the default manner. Well, there are hints everywhere right now, when you enter the information type error or do not meet certain requirements will be warned.

Third, the achievement of a reasonable ranking

If the student's score is to be sorted from high to low according to the student's score, the same is sorted by last name when the total score is met. To do this: first select all the data columns, select data → sort, and then select "Total Score" in the "main keyword" Drop-down list in the Sort window. and select the Decrement Radio box, select name in the secondary keyword Drop-down list, and then click the OK button (as shown in Figure 4).
