When you make an Excel worksheet that needs to be circulated for changes, you want one part of the worksheet to be protected and the other part to be changed by the viewer, you can set the table to change the area and editable regions. So how do you set it? Here's how to set up the changes and editable regions.
Operation Steps
First, select the area you want people to edit, switch to the Review tab, and in the Change column, select Allow users to edit the area.
In the second step, in the pop-up Allow user Edit Page box, click New.
In the third step, locate the picker button to the right of the Reference cell text box in the Pop-up New Area page box, select the cells that can be edited, and then press the OK button.
Step fourth, the page is back to the "Allow users to edit" page box, open the Protect Sheet page box.
Step fifth, in the Protect Sheet page box, enter the password to unprotect the worksheet (so you don't have to be unprotected by someone else).
Step sixth, enter the password again in the text box below "Reenter password" in the Confirm Password page box.
At this point, the contents of the selected editable region can be changed at will, and the content outside the area is protected, as shown in the figure.
