Tip: if you do not use the routing function, the RJ45 line of the ADSL adapter cannot connect to the WAN port, you should connect to the lanport, otherwise it will always be offline. Through such a connection, the remaining LAN ports of the wired router can be connected to the fixed desktop, while the wireless router debugging can be used as a pure AP for the mobile shared Internet access of the laptop. After that, make sure that the power supply of the ADSL adapter and wireless router is fully enabled, the power indicator light, and the indicator light at the connection port are green ). Step 1: Enter the default IP address of the product in the browser, and enter the default account to enter the default IP address of the product on the ADSLModem management interface. The default IP address and default Logon account can be found in the product manual ).

Step 2: Find options like "general settings" or "quick Settings". There are a lot of things to do here. First, select the connection protocol. Currently, ADSL uses the "virtual dialing" method to access the Internet, and it corresponds to PPPoE.

Step 3: The next important configuration item is "VPI/VCI" virtual path identifier/virtual channel identifier ). Generally, the value of VPI cannot exceed 8, and the value of VCI cannot exceed 35. If you are not clear, you can ask the local telecom or ISP supplier. The value of VPI/VCI in the region where the author is located is 8/35. Because ADSLModem enables the routing function, it is equivalent to a gateway computer, which is used for dial-up connections, you should set your own ADSL account and password in the Modem attribute.

2. Configure the wireless router for debugging.

Step 1: log on to the wireless router. Select a computer that is wired to the wireless router, enter the default IP address of the wireless router in the browser, which is generally 192.168.1.1, which can be found in the product manual), and enter the account name and password of the router administrator, log on to the wireless router management interface.

Step 2: configure the SSID number. After entering the management interface, click the "Wireless Settings" option on the left of the main interface to open the settings interface. Generally, you only need to set the wireless router here. The "SSID" can be set at will, for example, "mynet" in this example, and then select the transmission rate in the "Mode" column according to the specifications. In order to make the wireless network more secure, we recommend that you remove the "allow SSID broadcast" check box. After that, you can click "save.
