Five access methods for vro settings

Currently, vro settings vary depending on different broadband access methods. Today, we will take the swift Broadband Router as an example to describe how to set vro under different broadband access modes.

1. Configure adsl on the vro

ADSL access is divided into adsl modem and adsl router. If it is an adsl router, you must first change its Internet access mode to RFC 1483 bridge, connect to the swift ROUTER, and then log on to the management interface of the ROUTER, in the setup wizard, select the ADSL virtual dialing method, enter the Internet account and Internet password provided by the broadband provider in the corresponding location, and click Next.

Ii. vro FTTB + LAN static IP + WEB Authentication

Log on to the quick router management interface and select the Ethernet broadband (static IP) and network service provider, such as the fixed IP address provided by China Telecom, then, enter any website address in the IE address bar. The authentication dialog box is displayed. Enter the username and password provided by the network service provider.

3. vro setting for wired and broadband Internet access

Log on to the vro management interface and select Ethernet bandwidth through the setting Wizard to automatically obtain the IP address from the network service provider, for example, China Telecom. After the setting is complete, restart the cable modem.

Iv. vro FTTB + LAN Dynamic IP + WEB Authentication

Log on to the vro management interface, select the Ethernet bandwidth through the setup wizard, and automatically obtain the IP address (Dynamic IP) from the network service provider. After the configuration is complete, check whether the WAN port obtains the IP address in the running status, if you get this information, enter any Web site in the IE address bar. The authentication dialog box is displayed. Enter the user name and password provided by the network service provider.

V. vrodsl setting VDSL

The access settings are the same as those of ADSL, but in some places, QQ can be used, but the webpage cannot be opened. In this case, you need to log on to the vro and set the WAN port in the network parameters, change the MTU value to a smaller value. The default value is 1492.
