Fix Chinese garbled characters After MySQL Installation

Source: Internet
Author: User

Because the default character encoding of MySQL is Latin1, most non-letter characters are not supported. Therefore, after installation, you must modify the character encoding first.

Open the my. ini file in the MySQL installation directory.

The following sections need to be modified:

[MySQL] default-character-set = GBK [mysqld] default-character-set = utf8

Restart MySQL after modification. The doscommand is as follows:

Net stop mysqlnet start MySQL

The principle is not so arrogant, it is easy to find on the Internet.

I feel this is not detailed enough, just look at the http://blog.csdn.net/ACMAIN_CHM/archive/2009/05/12/4174186.aspx
