Floating Point Type

The float type must contain at least 6 Valid digits.

The double type can contain at least 10 valid digits.

By default, the compiler treats floating point constants as double.

2.3f 9.11e9f: Float

54.3l 4.32e4l: Long double

Float and double outputs both use the % F % E % a specifier, because when they are passed to functions (such as printf) that do not display parameter types in the prototype

C automatically converts the float type parameter to the double type.
