Follow the Web Client Software Factory [Weekly Drop 08]

The Web Client Software Factory, which will be released by the Microsoft mode and practice team in middle December this year, is a project that deserves our expectation. It provides a Software Factory to guide us on how to use the Microsoft platform (ASP. NET, ASP. net ajax, Workflow Foundation, etc.) to develop some Web-based solutions.

In WCSF

1. Scenario documentation (a description of the requirements and technical challenges that the factory will address)

2. Architecture documentation

3. Design patterns

4. How-to topics

5. Guidance Packages (Visual Studio 2005 extensions for automating common tasks)

6. Reference Implementations (complete sample applications using the Factory)

7. Training content (Hands-On-Labs, demos, etc)

Provides some Web Client Application blocks: WF-based Page Flow Application blocks
