A few days ago, infoq published an article entitled "bonus to agile teams, just like dancing on the tip of a knife". We can see from the title that it is "thrilling". Obviously, we need superb skills, and the rough soles of your feet, just like some indigenous peoples in Africa, can dance on the tip of a knife with ease.
Indeed, it is a double-edged sword to motivate team members through bonus payment. If it is not done well, it may damage unity and lead to conflicts and conflicts between them, this is absolutely fatal for a team. However, if a team lacks reasonable incentives, it cannot motivate its members. It's really a headache to make a choice.
Now let's think about a scenario. After the project is successfully completed, do you have to reward the entire team and team members for their hardships? Of course, how should we reward them? In order to avoid eating a big pot meal, we can avoid unnecessary intrigue between team members and motivate their work enthusiasm to the maximum extent, so that everyone is happy? From toys to games, my thinking is to abandon the traditional bonus strategy and adopt the following alternative incentive mechanism:
1. "Technical toys"
2. Small gifts
3. Free Time Control
4. Education and training opportunities
5. Right to select a team member
6. Develop games
An appropriate reward can enable us to dance freely, but we must keep in mind the following two principles:
1. When rewarding outstanding developers, do not forget to reward outstanding teams;
2. The reward methods should vary from person to person, and the employees must be given their preferences to the maximum extent.
