Fully uninstall nginx in Ubuntu

Source: Internet
Author: User

Although nginx is easy to use, it is quite difficult to uninstall and reinstall it once the key configuration file is modified. I have installed nginx by using the apt-Get method and the source code. The result is a conflict. I Cannot uninstall it and cannot install it. It is a headache. The main problem is that when nginx is uninstalled, the associations are not completely cleared and the corresponding files or folders are not deleted.

A more reliable solution is to download the command line with the root permission and input the following command:

Rm-RF/etc/nginx/
Rm-RF/usr/sbin/nginx
Rm/usr/share/man/Man1/nginx.1.gz
Apt-Get remove nginx *

The principle is to delete the associated files and folders.
