Highlighting can mark important text in a document, and use Word's find feature to quickly navigate to text with the highlight tag.
First, the application of highlighting
1. On the Formatting toolbar, click the Drop-down button to the right of the Highlight button to select a highlighted color. If the current Highlight button displays a color that meets your requirements, you can click the button directly.
2. Drag and choose the text (or graphic) you want to highlight, which is obvious for clip art.
Tips:
1. The above method can be continuous highlight operation, if you want to turn off the highlight, click the button again, or press ESC health.
2. If you only need to make a highlight, you can also select the object, and then click the Highlight button, the selected object will be automatically marked, and the "highlight" button to revert to the original, can not continue to use.
Second, delete highlighting
1. Select the text you want to remove highlighting from.
2. On the Formatting toolbar, click the arrow next to Highlight, and then click None.
Tips:
1. If you want to delete all the highlighting tags in a document, select the document first, and then follow the second step.
2. Click the Highlight button, and then use the mouse to drag and choose the highlighted text with the same color, highlighting will be canceled, if the current color and the original inconsistency, the trailing range of the highlight color will be replaced by the new color. Click the Drop-down button next to highlight, select None, and then drag and choose with the mouse to remove all color highlighting.
Find highlighting text
1. Perform "edit" → "find", open the Find dialog box, or click the Advanced button if you do not see the Format button.
2. Click to open the Format menu, and then click Highlight.
3. Click "Find Next". You can also select the highlight all items found in this range check box, and then click the Find All button.
Note: If you have characters in the Find what box, you need to delete the characters first.
Four, hide and display highlighting
Execute the tools → options → view tab, and in the show area, check the Highlight checkbox to display the highlight flag. " Conversely, the highlight marker is hidden.
