During the charging process, the battery pack can be balanced and charged, ensuring that each battery can reach the maximum charge voltage at the same time, to the greatest extent, the inconsistency between materials, production, and use of battery cells in the battery pack is solved, which greatly improves the available capacity and service life of the battery pack. Therefore, smart charging devices are widely used in fast charging and balanced charging of urban electric buses and hybrid buses.
During the whole vehicle charging process, large current is usually used for fast charging, and the current is as high as 30a, or even higher. When high current and fast charging are close to saturation, if large current is still used for charging, it is very likely to cause damage to the battery. At this time, a series balanced charging device is used, the battery is balanced and the status of each battery is monitored in real time during the balanced charging process to ensure the optimal performance of each battery. In this process, each battery is an independent unit. Once the status of each battery reaches Saturation during the charging process, it can be independently controlled to enable and disable charging, it truly realizes intelligent charging management.
