The following example shows how to set the read-only permission for a worksheet.

1. Open the file to be processed and click "protect worksheet" under "review", as shown in the following figure,

2. Then, the password dialog box will pop up. Now we can set the permissions, as shown in the following figure.

3. After entering the password, click "OK", enter the password you just set, and click "OK".

4. If you want to change the password, you will be prompted to enter the password.

5. If you want to process or modify the worksheet protection, you need to click "revoke worksheet protection" in "review" (you can only see revoke worksheet protection after encryption ),

6. Then, enter the password in the pop-up dialog box after you click "undo worksheet protection" and click "OK".
