First step, select Physical Disk
Enter "SELECT disk N" To select the physical disk, where "n" represents the first few physical hard drives. If you are working on a 1th physical hard drive, you should enter "select Disk 0" and so on.
Step two, create an extended partition
Enter the "create partition Extended" command, and the system will automatically create an extended partition after execution, and all the free space behind the primary partition will be occupied. When you are finished, you can exit the command prompt without having to enter related commands for creating logical partitions, because the system uses all the extended partitions to create a logical partition. OK, now go to the Computer Management → Disk Management window and you'll find the extended partition that you've created to complete. Right-click to select New Simple volume, the new Simple Volume Wizard pops up (that is, you create a logical partition), and the wizard prompts you to specify the size of the simple volume, and the next steps are easy.
