How to change a section break type in a Word2013 document

Step 1th, open the Word2013 document window that contains the word section break, and position the cursor anywhere in the section where you want to change the type of section break.

Step 2nd, switch to the page layout ribbon in the Word2013 document window, and click the Show Page Setup dialog box button in the Page Setup group, as shown in Figure 1.

Step 3rd, open the Page Setup dialog box and switch to the Layout tab. Click the section Start Drop-down triangle button in the section area, and then select the new section break type in the section break type Drop-down list, and click OK, as shown in Figure 2.
