The cpanel panel is a host management system. Many IDC vendors may use the cpanel panel. How can we create and manage a mysql database in the cpanel panel, here is my summary.
To create a new MySQL database, you only need to perform the following three steps:
1. Create a database,
2. Create a user name and password;
3. Add users and permissions to the database.
Log on to the cpanel background, find the database area, and click the mysql database icon to go to the "Database Operations page ",
First, log on to your cPanel control panel, click MySQL database to enter, you can see the new user, enter your desired user name and password, you can also use the password generator, and then click Generate user. Remember the username and password entered here. If you want to build WordPress, it will be filled in at the first login.
After a new user is generated, you need to create a new database. The previous part is your cPanel account. enter the name of the database you want to create, which can be your website domain name, this makes it easy to know the database of the website and facilitate management.
At this time, both the database and the user are created. We need to add the user to the newly created database and grant permissions. Find "Add User to Database", select the database you just created, select the user you just created, and click "add.
After adding the database, you can select the right to operate the database. For administrator-level users, select all permissions and click Change to save.
In this way, a new MySQL database and user are created.
