Click Control + N to create a new file. Enter 600 in the width and height columns, and then click the Advanced button. Select RGB, resolution (72ppi), enable grid (View> display grid), and align grid (View> align grid ). As shown in the following figure.

2. Create a pattern and a chart category
Step 1
Select the rectangle tool (M ). Set stroke to none, then select fill, set the color to R = 255G = 222 B = 23. Then, create a 10x40 px rectangle and align the grid to simplify your work. Set the fill color to R = 162G = 179 B = 189, and create a 10 x 15px rectangle, as shown in the second image. Then, set the fill color to R = 225G = 176 B = 169, create another 10 x 15px rectangle, place it as shown in the second image, and select the direct selection tool (). In the second image, select the four highlights and drag them down 5px. As shown in the following figure. Re-select the yellow rectangle to remove the color from the fill. Select all three shapes, drag them into the color palette panel (window> color palette), and save them as a pattern. Once you have your pattern, you can delete your shape from your panel.

Step 2
Select the rectangle tool (M) to create a random shape, fill it in black, and reduce the opacity to 15%. Make sure that the new shape is selected. Open the graphic style panel (window> graphic style, and then click the new graphic style button (pointed by the small blue arrow ). Double-click the latest saved image style and name it black "black ". Return to your panel and delete the existing shape.
