How to handle Android error "unparsed aapt error (s )"

In Android Application Development, when editing, modifying, or adding or deleting resource files under Res/, the following error message is displayed:

"Unparsed aapt error (s )! Check the console for output ".

You can check the prompts in the console to solve the problem.

For example, if a new XML file: newscreen. XML is added to RES/layout, the following error message is displayed on the console:

The layout file name can only contain characters in [A-z0-9] etc.

That is, the layout file name can only contain 26 lower-case letters and numbers 0 ~ 9. Therefore, an error will be reported if the file name contains uppercase letters.

 

If the error message is unclear. java deletes the file to regenerate it. you can delete a file under Res (back up the file first), R. java will be updated again.
