If the Word2013 document has more than one column, the text content is displayed in the next column when the space in the current column is fully used. The user can insert a column break in any document location (mainly in a multiple-column document), forcing the text content after the insertion point to appear in the next column. To insert a column break in the Word2013 document window, the following steps are described:
Step 1th, open the Word2013 document window and position the insertion point cursor where you want to insert the column break.
Step 2nd, switch to the page layout ribbon, click the Separator button in the Page Setup group, and select the column break option in the open separator list, as shown in Figure 2013072513.

After you insert a column break, the content that follows the column break is forced to appear in the next column, as shown in Figure 2013072514.
