How to Restore Factory Setting for Original Launch X431 V (X431 Pro)

Here I would what do I to share with you and to the Restore factory setting for Launch X431 v.

Note:before operation, you need to keep following 2 points in mind.

1. Improper operation may cause the dead of X431 V, therefore, and you need to operate carefully. After the factory settings is restored, all user data would be deleted.

2. The following method does not apply to X431 V + and X431 Pro3.

Here's step by step procedure, just follow it to do.

1:make sure power supply is enough (at least 60% power or above), and shutdown X431 v.

2:long Press the power button and volume up button on the side of X431 V, open the machine and then come to the menu as S Hown in the following picture.

3:in this interface, power button was equivalent to Enter key, Volume button is an as up and down key.
Press volume button move to line 5 "Wipe data/factory reset", and then press power button to confirm.

4:after This step is done, it'll back to the menu of picture of Step 2, then move to "wipe cache partition".

5:finally, move to ' reboot system ', confirm and reboot the machine, then X431 Pro are restored to factory setting S.
