In a Word2013 document, using a gradient color as a Word document page background can make Word documents more hierarchical. To set the gradient page background color in the Word2013 document, the following steps are described:
Step 1th, open the Word2013 document window and switch to the Design tab. Click the page Color button in the page background group, and select the Fill Effect command in the Open page color panel, as shown in Figure 2013072801.

In the 2nd step, in the Open Fill Effect dialog box, switch to the Gradient tab. In the color area, select the two-color radio box, and then select color 1 and color 2 respectively. In the Shading style area, select the gradient direction for the color, including the horizontal, vertical, italic, oblique, corner radiation, and center radiation styles. When you are finished, click the OK button, as shown in Figure 2013072802.
