In the Word2013 document, you can adjust the distance between the body content of the Word document and the margins of the page by setting paragraph indents. The user can set paragraph indentation in three ways.
Method 1: Set paragraph indentation in the Paragraph dialog box
The user can set paragraph indents in the Word2013 Paragraph dialog box, as described in the following steps:
Step 1th, open the Word2013 document window and select the text paragraph that you want to set the paragraph indentation for. Click the Show Paragraph Dialog button in the Paragraph group in the start Ribbon, as shown in Figure 2013082501.

Step 2nd, in the Open Paragraph dialog box, switch to the Indent and Spacing tab, and in the indent area, adjust the left or right edit box to set the indent value. Then click the Special Format Drop-down triangle button, select the first line indent or hanging indent option in the Drop-down list, and set the indent value (typically setting the indent value to 2). Set Finish Click OK, as shown in Figure 2013082502.

Method 2: Set paragraph indentation in the page layout ribbon
In the page layout ribbon of the Word2013 document window, you can quickly set paragraph indentation values for the selected Word2013 document, as described in the following steps:
Step 1th, open the Word2013 document window and select the paragraph you want to indent.
Step 2nd, switch to the page layout ribbon in the Word2013 document window, and then adjust the left and right indent values in the paragraph group, as shown in Figure 2013082503.
