How to set up the Mercury wireless router?

Basic setup in Admin interface

1, after the successful landing interface, in the subsequent interface, click the "Setup Wizard"

2, on the right-hand side of the wizard prompt interface, click "Next"

3, in the next interface, choose your way of surfing the internet, usually we all the way to the Internet is PPPoE virtual dialing method, this is the default way in the router, and then click Next.

5, then in the Wireless Settings Interface Wizard, modify the SSID, because if you do not modify this SSID, if your neighbors are also using a wireless router with the same brand, you will not be able to distinguish which is your own wireless router. So you can enter your own personalized name in this interface to differentiate the wireless router. Of course, you also need to select Wpa-psk/wpa2-psk Safe mode in the wireless security options below and set the password. Other options can be shown with the default values, as shown below.

Modify the wireless router login username and password

To improve your router's login security, you can continue to modify the login username and password for the admin router.

Click "System Tools" on the left-hand menu bar-"Modify login password" as shown in the following figure.

In the right side of the interface to enter the old user name, password and the new set of login username and password, and then click Save.

If one day you inadvertently forget the login password and password, you can find a toothpick, poke the back of the router reset button, let it back to factory settings, this time the router's settings will revert to the default value.
