How to sort data by rows in an Excel table

1, start Excel 2013 and open the worksheet, select all the data on the worksheet. Open the Sort dialog box, click the Options button to open the Sort Options dialog box, and select the Sort by row radio button in the Orientation bar, as shown in Figure 1.

2, click OK to close the Sort Options dialog box, select the row 1 option in the primary keyword Drop-down list in the Sort dialog box, and select the Custom series option in the Order Drop-down list, as shown in Figure 2.

3, open the Custom Series dialog box, enter a sequence in the input sequence text box, and then click the Add button to add it to the custom list box, as shown in Figure 3.

4. After clicking the OK button to close the Custom series and Sort dialog boxes, the selected data is sorted by row, as shown in Figure 4.
