First we open a document and place the cursor behind the word we need to annotate. Here I choose the real estate three words. Then refer to the button on the side of the footnote, as shown in the picture.
In the Footnote and endnote command box, select the footnote, select the number format we want in the numbering format, and generally select the number with the circle.
And then we have to renumber each page at the number. (Of course this can be selected according to the need, the actual operation) and then click Insert.
Then the cursor automatically jumps to the end of the page, and now just put the "real estate" we need to add the annotation to write on it. The font size and label size of this annotation can be adjusted.
When we finish writing the annotation, we will see that there is a small label in the upper right corner of the real estate, and now we put the mouse on the label, and we will display the annotation we just entered on the side.
This is an annotation method for the word. The comment on the paragraph or sentence is similar. As shown in figure, I'm going to comment on a paragraph in the diagram, first place the cursor at the back of the passage, then refer to the button on the side of the footnote and open the Footnote and endnote command box. Here we select endnotes, because generally the comments on the paragraph are placed after the entire document, the other can be adjusted to the situation, the choice is inserted after.
This is the cursor jump to the end of the document, now enter the comment.
Again, after we've typed it, we'll put the mouse over the label of the paragraph, and we'll show you the content of the comment.
