On the Internet, I often hear some terms about hybrid cars, such as plug-ins. Recently I read a hybrid book about foreigners, hybrid vehicles and the future of personal transportation.
These terms define hybridness (called the mixing degree), which is simply the ratio of the motor power to the motor power + the engine power.
Several design schemes can be defined based on different hybridgeness, and there is an extension of the new term (H is used to represent hybridgeness)
1) pure gasoline, traditional vehicle, H = 0;
2) pure electric (EV), electric vehicle, H = 100%;
3) Mild Hybrid, (weak mix ?), 0 <H <50%;
4) Full hybrid, (full mixing ?), H = 50%. The current cars sold by Toyota are basically full-mixed;
7) range extender (plug-in), (extended? Plug-in), 50% <H <100%;
Hybrid structure:
1) Parallel Hybrid, Parallel Hybrid, motor and engine are mounted on a three-way gearbox, which controls the energy transmission direction;
2) series hybrid, serial hybrid, engine-> generator-> Motor
