This article mainly introduces some of my Node. js development tools, Development kits, frameworks, and other summaries. For more information, see
Development Tools
1. WebStorm is undoubtedly a cross-platform, powerful code prompt, support for Nodejs debugging, and support for vi editing mode, which I like very much.
2. Use Sublime Text for some small projects.
3. Browserify: apply your nodejs module to your browser.
4. nvm: nodejs version management tool. You may use multiple nodejs versions (for example, v0.11.x supports nodejs of generator and v0.10.x of stable). You can use this tool to conveniently switch between them.
Test & Automation
1. mocha: A simple, flexible, and interesting JavaScript testing framework (similar to showould and supretest)
2. gruntjs: the most popular build tool in the node world so far
3. gulp. js: claimed to replace gruntjs's stuff
4. node-inspector: the code debugging of nodejs is amazing. It is lightweight and convenient to combine with Chrome-Debug of the browser.
5. node-dev: the code has been changed. Are you still pressing Ctrl + C? Try this tool. Use fs. watch () to monitor the project directory. After the code changes, the project will be automatically restarted.
6. pm2: replacing node-forever's rookie
Third-party development kit
1. Edge. js: Allows. NET and nodejs to run in the same process and call each other (what is an artifact)

4. cheerio, jQuery core selector implementation, can run on the server side, similar to jsdom, but much lighter than jsdom
5. async, asynchronous Processing
6. shortid, url-friendly unique id
7. log4js, logging, and robust systems are inseparable from logging
8. colors for easy output of text of different colors in the console (tinycolor, more lightweight console color settings)
9. xmlrpc facilitates xml remote process calls. For example, it may be used when writing metaweblog.
10. commander: it is essential to write command line applications to simplify various Command Parsing operations.
11. koa: successor of Express
12. chokidar

21. needle: lightweight http client module, integrated with iconv-lite, similar to request
