To visit the MS official website in win7, I accidentally found IE8 RC. I immediately installed and tried it out of my love for ms.
From the perspective of personal experience, let's talk about some nice things:
1. I feel that the speed of opening a webpage is getting faster. IE8 has some network accelerators by default, which seem to have been optimized for a specific website and allows users to add third-party accelerators.
2. When browsing a webpage in inprivate mode, all records and historical data in this session will not be retained. This is indeed useful when privacy protection is required.
3. Press Ctrl + Q to preview all opened pages. If the webpage title is the same, it is more accurate to switch to the desired page.
4. multi-process page protection. Other tab pages will not be suspended due to the crash of one tab page. However, if I try to kill the daemon process, the entire IE8 will be killed... However, you will be reminded when you start the next time and can open the previous crash page.
The disadvantage is that it accounts for virtual memory, and each tab page accounts for 5 m and 6 m. At present, it is not very difficult for the machine to have 2 GB of memory. I don't know how it works under pressure.
