Final Effect

 

 

1. Open the source image and form a good habit. Press Ctrl + J to copy the background layer. Press Ctrl + Shift + u to remove the color. Copy the de-colored layer, press Ctrl + I to reverse, and change the layer blending mode to "color fade ".

 

 

2. Execute filter> Other> Minimum value on the reversed layer. Set the parameter to 1 and merge the layers downward. 3. Copy the background layer and press Ctrl + m to adjust the curve. 4. Select the de-color layer and execute: Filter> blur> special blur. Values: radius: 1.5, threshold: 15. 5. Adjust the color phase/saturation and set the value accordingly. 6. Merge the layers, copy another layer, and execute filter> artistic effect> dry strokes on the copy layer to change the opacity of the layer to 30%. The effect is as follows.

 

7. Merge the layers downward, copy a layer, and use the smear tool to smear the hair. The brush still needs texture points, and the intensity is 70%. 8. Copy the layer, change the opacity to 65%, and repeat Step 7.

 

 

9. Hair path: Create a new layer, set the main diameter of the paint brush to 1, and set the pen as shown in. 10. Select the hair color, right-click the path, select "stroke path", and select the paint brush. Specific parameter settings are shown in.

 

 

11. Delete the path and draw it twice more. The effect will be better. 12. Eye processing: Create a new layer, select a flexible paint brush, the white eye is white, and the eye is brown. At last, add a highlight to the left and right sides of the eye.

 

 

13. Lip processing: select the smear tool, select the soft paint brush, and set the intensity to 45%. Apply the paint on your lips to know the desired effect.

 

14. To make the overall effect even, execute: Filter> mode> special blur, radius 30, threshold 6. 15. Create a new layer, press CTRL + ALT + Shift + e to print the layer, press Ctrl + u to adjust the color/saturation, and remove the yellow color. Create an optional Color adjustment layer, adjust the red, white, and black colors as appropriate, and set the value.
