State Service

Make preparations before using InfoPath. InfoPath depends on the State Service to work. If the State Service is not enabled, the following error is returned:

State Services must be enabled using the field settings Wizard:

Select Start the Wizard here:

First select a Service Account, and then select State Service in Services:

Click Next. It takes some time for SharePoint to start the selected Service, and the page for creating Site Collection will be displayed. Generally, the Site Collection will not be created under the Web Application of Central Administration, so you can select Skip:

In this way, the State Service is created.
