Returns a string that is searched for the execution specification expression. Read-only.

RegExp.input

The object associated with this property is always the global RegExp object.

Description

Any time a string is changed, the value of theinput property will be modified.

The following example illustrates the use of the input attribute:

RegExp.input;    return(s);}
