Install and use Ganglia API and gangliaapi
Ganglia monitoring does not provide APIs for external programs to call. However, according to the principle of ganglia monitoring, you can analyze the xml of gmetad port to directly obtain metrics.
Guardian has released such a python program on Github. You can query metric directly through the restful API.

Installation requirements:
Virtualenv
Tornado
Python2.6 or above
Ganlgia API is an independent program that can be installed anywhere
Change import settings in the ganglia-api.py file to import dev_settings
Start
Virtualenv ve
Source ve/bin/activate
Python ganglia/ganglia_api.py
Note:
1. the/etc/ganglia/gmetad-*. conf file must exist. * can be replaced by other characters.
2. tornado installation requires dependent packages:
Backports. ssl_match_hostname
Certifi
