INSTALL MYSQL in MAC

After installing MySQL, find MySQL in system references and start it.

After startup, enter the MySQL path command in the terminal and add the path to the path:

Path= "$PATH":/usr/local/mysql/bin

The command to log on to MySQL at the terminal is as follows: Mysql-u root-p

When you execute any of the statements, such as show databases, you will see an error similar to the following, use Set password to modify the password.

ERROR 1820 (HY000): Must reset your password using ALTER USER statement before executing this statement.

mysql> SET PASSWORD = PASSWORD (' 123456);
