A good Eclipse plug-in (plugin) for compiling properties files. With this plug-in, we do not need to use native2ascii encoding when editing Unicode texts such as simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. You can install this plug-in through the software update in eclipse by following the steps below:
1. Expand the Help menu of Eclipse, move the cursor to the software update subitem, and click find and install in the displayed submenu;
2. In the install/update dialog box, select search for new features to install and click Next;
3. Click new remote site in the install dialog box;
4. Fill in "propedit" or any other non-empty string in the name of the new update site dialog box, and fill in http://propedit.sourceforge.jp/eclipse/updates /;
5. In the site to include to search List, remove other options except the site added in the previous step and click finsih;
6. In the pop-up updates dialog box, select the features to install list and remove all options ending with "3.1.x" (applicable to friends of eclipse 3.2 );
7. Click Finish to close the dialog box;
8. After downloading the tool, agree to install the tool, and restart eclipse as prompted. If you see a vi-like button in the toolbar, the installation is successful and the plug-in is available. In this case, all properties files in eclpise are marked by the Green P icon before the file names.
