Introduction to pgbench

Build a test environment in Windows

Cd c: \ Program Files \ PostgreSQL \ 9.2 \ bin

Step 1: Create a database

Createdb-u Postgres-e utf8 -- LC-collate "Chinese, zh_cn" pgbench

 

Step 2: Use pgbench data first:

Pgbench-u Postgres-I pgbench

 

Step 3: Test

Pgbench-u Postgres-C 10-t 100 pgbench

Pgbehch -- Help

 

 

-The number of customers simulated by C clients, that is, the number of concurrent database sessions. The default value is 1.

 

-T transactions: the number of transactions that each client runs. The default value is 10.
