There are many things worth learning about broadband access technology. Here we mainly introduce the IP-based broadband access technology. During the development of small and medium-sized enterprises to a certain stage, the network construction can achieve internal resource sharing, reduce enterprise costs, and better communicate with the outside, so that the outside can better understand the Enterprise.

I. Networking

The Enterprise Network should be divided into two parts: internal network and external network, which also include the actual application of these two parts. Small and medium enterprises should fully consider their own needs at the beginning of the network design, through these requirements, we can design a network suitable for our own needs. This article introduces the internal network, external network and Practical Application of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in establishing a network from a macro perspective, it plays an important role in the networking process of small and medium-sized enterprises.

Small and medium enterprises use ADSL Network instances

In recent years, with the rapid development of the Internet in China, many broadband access technologies have emerged. ADSL stands out among many Broadband Access Technologies and appears in many different application environments, ADSL uses the original telephone system for high-speed data transmission without re-wiring and has high flexibility. Through this broadband access technology, our enterprises can implement various applications, and the cost is low. This article introduces the application of ADSL in small and medium-sized enterprises through two concrete examples.

Enterprise Networking: grasp the "Last Mile"

The last kilometer refers to the line from the local branch to the user's data communication terminal device MODEM, baseband MODEM, isdn modem, And adsl modem. On this line, due to the wide-band access technology used by the transmission network within the telecommunications company, the interface protocols and line media are also very different. This article describes how to select the last kilometer line for small and medium-sized enterprises.

Set up LAN

The following methods are often used for LAN classification: Topology classification, transmission media classification, access media classification, and network operating system classification.

1) classification by Topology

Lan often uses bus, ring, Star, and hybrid topologies. Therefore, LAN can be divided into bus-type LAN, ring LAN, Star LAN, and hybrid LAN. This classification method reflects the topology used by the network and is the most common classification method.

2) classified by transmission media

Common transmission media on LAN include coaxial cable, twisted pair wire, optical cable, etc. Therefore, hydrogen LAN can be divided into coaxial cable LAN, twisted pair LAN and optical fiber LAN. If radio waves and microwave waves are used, they can be called wireless LAN.

3) classified by access to transmission media

The transmission media provides two or more computers to interconnect and transmit information. On a LAN, multiple computers are often connected to one transmission medium, such as bus and ring LAN, one transmission medium can only be used by one computer at a time. Who can use or access the transmission medium at a certain time? This requires a common method or principle to control and coordinate the simultaneous access of various computers to the transmission media. This method is a protocol or media access control method. Currently, common access methods for transmission media in LAN include: Ethernet) method, Token Ring), FDDE method, asynchronous transmission mode ATM method, etc, therefore, the LAN can be divided into Ethernet), Token network Token Ring), FDDE network, and ATM network.

4) classification by network operating system

Lan is implemented under the control of the LAN Operating System. Just like DOS, UNIX, WINDOWS, OS/2, and other operating systems on a microcomputer, there are also multiple network operating systems on the LAN. The network operating system determines the functions and service performance of the network. Therefore, the LAN can be classified by the network operating system in use, such as the Netware network of Novell, 3COM's 3 + OPEN network, Microsoft's Windows NT Network, IBM's LAN Manager network, and BANYAN's VINES network.

5) other classification methods

Data transmission speed can be classified into 10 Mbit/s LAN, Mbit/s LAN, 155mbit/s LAN, and gigabit lan. Information exchange methods can be classified into exchange LAN and shared LAN.
