1 Introduction to IP camera

IP camera is a software that uses a common camera for network video transmission. The entire system is divided into the IP camera client and the IP Camera Server server. The system supports two video transmission modes: one is to transmit the video to the IP camera server with a fixed IP address in the LAN (or with a fixed public IP address; after registering a user, IP camera transfers the video to the IP camera server over the Internet.

3 usage

3.1 fixed IP Video Transmission Mode

1. on the IP camera client, set the IP address and port of the target machine to which the video will be transmitted.

Click "user" in the upper-right corner to open the following dialog box, and enter the IP address and port of the target machine in the sending IP address and port.

2. Click "open camera" on the page to start video transmission.

3. Add the camera to be received on the IP camera server.

Click "add device" in the toolbar or menu, and enter the device name, device IP address, and device port.

After adding the device, drag the device from the device list on the left to the display network on the right.

4. Click "open device" in the toolbar or menu to receive the video transmitted by the device.

 

3.2 Internet transmission mode

1. register a new user on the IP camera server.

Click "User Registration" in the user menu, enter the user name and password, and click "register ".

If you have already registered a user, you can directly set the user (you do not need to set it after registering a new user, and the system will automatically set it ).

Click "user settings" in the user menu, enter the user name and password, and click "save ".

2. Set User Information on the IP camera client.

Click "user" in the upper-right corner to open the following dialog box. Enter the user name, password, device name, and video port on the registered user on the left side, and click "OK ".

 

3. Enable the camera on the IP camera client to start video transmission.

4. Import the Network Camera to the IP camera server.

Click "Import device" in the device menu, select the device to be imported, and click "import". You can see that the device has been imported to the device list on the left. Drag the devices in the list to the display network on the right.

5. Click "open device" in the toolbar or menu to receive the video transmitted by the camera.
