Javascript alert garbled characters in Chinese

For example, in a PHP file

The pop-up is garbled. Even if charset = UTF-8 or charset = gb2312 is added to the script tag, it will not work:

Echo '<SCRIPT charset = "gb2312"> alert ("exited successfully! ") </SCRIPT> ';

?>

 

The solution is as follows:

Add the following code to the first statement of the file:

 

<? PHP

Header ("Content-Type: text/html; charset = UTF-8 ");

?>

 

No garbled characters exist. The problem is solved successfully!
