Creating Objects

The second parameter has a i,g,m. They are case-insensitive, global-match, and multi-line matching, respectively.

var patten = new RegExp (' ABCDE ', ' I ');

var str = "AbCdE";

Alert (Patten.test (str)); This code means that Patten.test (Patten) borrows test to match two variables if the match returns true instead of false.

var patten =/abc/i;

var str = ' AbC ';

Alert (patten.exec (str));

You can also use a code to express

Alert (/box/i.test (' Box ')); True is returned.
