JavaScript sort () method comparer

When we want to sort a simple array of numbers, we might think of the sort () method:

var arr = [2, 3,-1, -107, -14, 1];console.log (Arr.sort ())

Results:

[-1,-107,-14, 1, 2, 3]

This is obviously problematic because when the method is called without parameters, the elements in the array are sorted alphabetically, that is, in the order in which the characters are encoded.

So we need a comparator:

Console.log (Arr.sort (b)        {if(a<b) {            return -1 ;        }         if (a>b) {            return 1;        }         return 0;    }))

Results:

[-107,-14,-1, 1, 2, 3]

This looks better.

So we should be aware of its rules when sorting arrays using the sort () method.
