Lenovo Consumer desktop and all-in-one machine pre-assembled WINDOWS8 retrofit Windows7 procedures and FAQs
Prerequisite Description:
Currently, Lenovo's desktop and all-in-one machine with Windows 8 is a combination of uefi+gpt hard drives, and a secure boot is turned on, but currently other Windows systems other than Windows 8 do not support this mode, if you need to modify other systems, such as Windows 7, must work in the traditional bios+mbr hard drive mode. If you do not make any settings, when the user starts pressing F12, the boot menu will be found to be unable to detect a USB flash drive or a CD-ROM boot device, the system cannot be installed properly. There are also cases where users who have installed the system directly using ghost or third-party tools partition may not be able to boot or install properly.
This document is only available for Lenovo desktop PCs and all-in-one PCs that are shipped with Windows 8 preinstalled
