Add the official maintenance PPA to install the latest version of FCITX (currently installed by PPA with the version 4.2.8.3).
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:fcitx-team/nightly

In Software Manager, search for the components required to install various input methods:
(1) Chinese pinyin: Fcitx-sunpinyin (FCITX Package for sunpinyin Input method engine, Support double spell) or Fcitx-googlepinyin or Fcitx-pinyin or Sogou Input method (first confirm that the FCITX Input method framework is the latest version, and then install Fcitx-ui-qimpanel, finally from Sogou official website to download the installation of Linux Sogou Input method).
(2) Simplified Chinese Wubi: Fcitx-table-wubi (Wubi Input method) or fcitx-table-wbpy (wubi Pinyin ime).
(3) Traditional Chinese: Fcitx-table-cangjie.
(4) Universal Input Method Code table: fcitx-table*, such as: Fcitx-table-erbi (two input method).

Set FCITX to default:
LinuxMint the default Input method framework is IBUs, so change the default IME framework to FCITX. Open the terminal, enter "sudo im-config", enter the user password entered after you open the Input Method Configuration dialog window, click "OK", click "Yes" in the next pop-up window, select "Fcitx" in the next window, click "OK".
