A = {}--Create a new array for I=1, a[i] = 0end

In Lua, there are two ways to represent a matrix. The first is to use an array of arrays, where each element in a table is another table:

Mt = {}--new matrix for I=1, N do mt[i] = {}--Create a new line for j=1, M do mt[i][j] = 0 Enden D

The second way to represent a matrix is to combine two indexes into one index. If the two index is an integer, you can multiply the first index by an appropriate constant, plus a second index:

Mt = {}--Creates a matrix for I=1, N does for j=1, M do mt[(i-1) *m + j] = 0 EndEnd
