Management can drive people crazy

Let's talk about three management-related things.

The first part is as follows:

After work in the evening, I chatted with the boss and proposed to resign as the R & D department manager. The boss did not agree.

There are three reasons for consideration:

1: you do not have the ability to control the entire R & D department. (project management and management departments are very different. Never think that you can manage projects well, manage the entire Department)
2: I want to invest more time and energy, take the C ++ server group well, and do all the server modules well, this is a solid foundation)

3: some former colleagues at the same level have been dissatisfied with the company's efforts to improve themselves. They are not like doing things at all. However, as a technical backbone, the company cannot quit him, cooperation is very difficult. (It brings troubles to the boss and bad atmosphere to the company. It is simply inappropriate)

The second part is as follows:

"There are so many things that I don't have time to do ."

"That task is not to be done, but to be done with no energy ."

The third part is as follows:

"My biggest fear is that my boss calls me in the middle of the night. "

"If I had to hand in a form, I would be crazy. "

"Now we call it a job to fill out a table. You know the most annoying thing from small to large is to do a job. "

The first is my students, the second is my friends, and the third is my classmates.

I think that many people in the Post-70 s and the first half of the 80 s, who are about 30 years old, are not in this kind of status. They manage some people in the Post-70 s and 80 s, the top is managed by 60 or 70 people.

Under this pressure, many of them will go crazy.

How can this problem be solved? Based on my experience:

1. Define your career plan within three years. What do you want in three years?

2. How can we achieve your goal?

3. What are obstacles?

4. What do you like most in your heart?

The conclusion is that it is important to clarify goals and formulate principles first.

If you have made some progress, you can reward yourself. If you have regressed, you can punish yourself.

I recommend the book "The title of the minor strong", which will certainly be helpful to my friends.
